Timp Cave, Father's and Sons and Hobblecreek Half Marathon

We had a super busy week/weekend. Ella got picked up Friday by my parents to go to the cabin, then Chloe Zac and I hiked Timp Cave with Jenny Fowler and her kids. That was a lot of fun and I was really glad I didn't have Ella since there were cliffs everywhere and she is the busiest little girl ever!!! We then raced home through serious traffic on I-15 to meet our husbands to take the kids to father and sons campout. Jed took Chloe and Zac and I had another girls night out (2nd of the week!!! WOAH!) to Zupas and then watched a movie with Hannah and Kelly since our husbands were gone. Then I woke up at 4am saturday and did the Hobblecreek Half Marathon with Sarah Judd and Kelly Thorpe in preparation for our Top of Utah Marathon in 4 weeks. We had a great race, didn't push it too hard and felt pretty good. Kelly and Sarah got a PR. YAY! Sarah's time was crazy fast, 1:35 or something. And she was thinking she was going to be slow!!! My time was 1:44:53 with an average pace of 8min. It was a beautiful course, fun fun race. I loved being able to run with Kelly. My last half marathon was really lonely all by my self, so it made it soooo much better to run with someone. Then Jed got home with the kids and we went out to lunch at Gurus (YUM!). I had pancakes and eggs at 1pm. Ha ha! Awesome race recovery meal! Then we stopped at Bingham to look at bikes. Jed is in love with a Specialized Trail SX, so he had to ride it around. Then we came home and swam in the backyard and Jed worked on the bike course while I slept for 2 hours. Then I made dinner, which hardly any one ate. Then I made banana oatmeal muffins (Zac was begging for them) only to learn our oven was broken, AAAH!!! So no muffins. Then kids to bed. Then Jed and I stayed up and cleaned the whole house, which was not fun but it needed to be done. Now we are all feeling a little sick and stayed home from church, and we are going to do nothing today! YAY! Chloe fishing at Father's and Sons. She was the most excited to go, even though she isn't a "son"!
Pretty camp huh?
More fun at father's and sons
