These kids are AWESOME!!!I am at the M family's house watching two of their kids today. I have known the M family for about 10 years. I started working for them when their kids were three years old. They are the cutest family. They have triplets who were born when their mom was 6 months along, so they only weighed two pounds. Two boys and a girl. The two boys have cerebral palsy due to the complications during birth. I absolutely adore this family. They have had so many trials, yet they accomplish so much and have taught me soooooo much. They manage to make life so fun despite all of the challenges they face, they go on fun trips to disneyland, moab, oregon, you name it. They take their kids skiing, the boys use sit skis, and it is sooo cool. They have so many fun family traditions, like on Halloween instead of taking the kids trick or treating they invite the whole neighborhood over for donuts and cider. Their mom decorates so cute for every holiday and she has such a cheerful disposition, and they are so spiritual and have the most amazing testimonies. They have had quite the last six months. One of their boys is in the hospital with an intestinal blockage and he is probably in surgery right now. Their mom just had a brain aneurism about a month ago and was in the hospital for 2 weeks and isn't even fully recovered yet. I got a phone call this morning and I knew something bad must have happened and sure enough they took their son to the hospital last night. Their mom has also had another recent surgery for other issues, their son recently had a MAJOR back injury where they put a rod all the way up his spine to straighten his back out. He also had a baclofen pump withdrawal that made him very sick, and I know I am forgetting other things, and this is just in the last 6 months!!! Their other son is supposed to have surgery on his feet this friday! I am amazed at how positive they have been through all of this, like they don't have enough trials ALREADY!!! I am so happy to be able to come over here and spend time with this family, even though it is due to this! They have helped me so much in my life, I feel like Heavenly Father blessed me so much to know them and be able to help them through all these years. Their mom is truly one of my best friends. I just love her. And I love their kids!!! Their dad is such an amazing example of a giving unselfish husband and Father. He is so patient and kind and stood right by his wife's side the whole time she was at the hospital. So if am ever feeling down like my life is hard I just think of this sweet family that I love, whose only goal is to be an eternal family forever!!! They just enjoy the simple things in life and have so much faith. I am so grateful for them.
So this afternoon I am hanging out with their daughter, who I have known since she was 3!!!! We just made these yummy blondies we found on Martha Stewart. They were super good, we put in butterscotch chips as well as chocolate chips. Click here for the recipe! Oh and I only baked it for 35 minutes, definitely long enough!

Thanks for sharing Heather. It is amazing what other people go through makes what is happening in our lives so minor.
I can't wait to get home and make the brownies! :-)
What an amazing family. They are truly an inspiration, even to me who doesn't even know them! Give them my love.
