This race was awesome. I was concerned because I had babysat one of our favorite families kids all week and even though it was great I was kinda tired. Then the 2 nights before the race Ella had a fever and was up crying all night, so that added to the tiredness exponentially. And Thursday I had raced the course (tired as well from that), and knew it had a ton of climbing. So at the starting line I had no idea how it was going to play out. But all went well, I felt pretty strong on my first lap, I kept trying to get more of a gap between Tiffany and I as we were both duking it out for first place. I would pass people and I would hear her pass them as well. Finally towards the end of the first lap the gap grew a little. When I went around for the short lap I thought hmm, I might be able to actually win this. I just tried to keep my composure and not wreck and shift smooth. I was able to hold out for first, which is a first for me in Sport. YAY! I was really excited. I had a great race and can't complain one bit.

Cute new kits. :) oh and look there's Jamie...ha ha

Jed got kinda worn out on his new bike, to say the least. :) He is awesome. And I think he likes his bike. But I am still working on him to purchase something a little lighter...

The Mad Dog Girls swept the podium 1st through 3rd too, pretty sweet.
