A Truly Crazy Day, and it's only 2pm

Today has been so funny.
Went running at 5:45am
came home, I was freezing!
Took a hot shower
Got back in my pajamas
Got back in bed for a cat nap (thinking it would be 10 minutes)
Woke up with a jolt to Chloe telling me her ride for Kindergarten was here YIKES!!!
Chloe was still in her pajamas
Heather B was at the door, wondering if I was dead
I came out with crazy hair in my robe, apologizing
She laughed and went on her way
Zac and Ella were still fast asleep
I rushed around like crazy getting Chloe breakfast
Packed kids in the car, still in my pajamas, Zac and Ella still in pajamas
took Chloe into school 30 min late (I was looking awesome with no makeup and bright blue pj pants)
went to the grocery store, everyone still in PJs (yeah I have turned into one of those Pajama pant moms, it's just so much more comfy)
got Zac some donut holes since he had no breakfast with all the craziness
dropped off a gift to a neighbor
my friend called and we chatted a bit, so fun!
meanwhile the kids were coloring with markers
Looked over at couch COVERED in PURPLE scribbles and Ella's artwork
AWESOME
washed it off frantically (luckily it was washable marker)
Ella and Zac jumped on my bed while I put on makeup
Ella fell off and got a bloody lip, a common occurrence around here
Looked at clock
Realized Zac needed to be at preschool
Rushed him over, remembered my check for monthly tuition (good job me!)
Got home
Realized Zac had been sent to school having only eaten donut holes, not even a drink, no lunch (bad job me)
Called the teacher to alert her that if my son has a meltdown that would be why, please give him an extra snack and drink
I think I'll win mom of the year
Just put Ella down for a nap read her favorite book
Played on the piano for a bit with Chloe
Now we are going to make a chocolate cake for Jed and start a week of valentine surprises
Just need to remember to pick up Zac and his friend from preschool at 3:30! Can I do it?
oh and I have to mention, Chloe broke her arm last week, life is full of surprises! She now has a bright pink cast. She only has to break it two more times to catch up with Zac.
