See that castle cake in the background? Yeah, I made that. Don't look too closely!Painting nails with GrandmaSo I am pretty behind with the blogging. Basically this is what we have been doing:
1.Ella's second birthday (can't believe she is 2!!!), making princess castle cakes and cupcakes. Having a little princess party. Decorated crowns and colored princesses, and painted our nails. So girly and fun.
2.Planned a Relief Society Meeting with a dinner, made soup and apple crisp
3.Tons of church training meetings, tons
4.Hurt foot, so no running. Sigh. Very depressed about this. Sad I can't run, but mostly miss the company in the morning, such a fun way to start the day, talking to friends. I miss it!!!!
5.Lots of doctor appts for physical therapy for the foot.
6.Driving kids here and there, babysitting kids, cleaning and more cleaning.
7.Biked all of 4 times outside this november (how lame is that???) but I was OH so grateful for those 4 times. It seems like this precious gift when I get to go biking. I did Corner Canyon with Kendra we had a great time it was perfect weather, Timp foothills twice (once with Sherrie and once with quite a few of the Mad Dog girls, so much fun!), and tonight KC showed me the Bonneville south trail. So grateful to her for that! It was super fun. She kicked my butt on her single speed. And we beat the blizzard that was on it's way. It was actually perfect temps.
8. Biking on the spin bike in my garage. It is a blast, let me tell ya. Actually I like it more than I thought, but probably because I can't run.
9. Sold my pink bike, a sad and happy day. Ordered a new bike. A Gary Fisher/Trek Superfly Elite. Very happy day. Without a bike though until that arrives. Luckily thanks to a super nice friend I have a sweet loaner for a bit. THANKS so much!!!!
10. Reel Rock film tour with Jed and good friends Sherrie and Walt. Love them! Fun date.
11.Harry potter with Jed. Fun date. But I am not a huge fan of Harry Potter. Sorry. But still fun. The Mittons babysat for us. They are so nice!
12.Took the kids climbing on a rope for the first time. It was so cute. We were filled with such pride watching the kids climb to the top. They are awesome.
13. got myself a few new shirts at the Gap 40% off sale. Happy!!!
14. Took the kids to the bike park in eagle mountain. Jed turns into a kid there. He loved it the most I think. It is really fun, you should check it out.
15. Watching old 30 rock episodes with Jed pretty much every night. We are pretty lame.
16. Raking leaves. One day I surprised Jed and raked the whole back yard. It took me two hours. He was shocked. Because if you have seen our yard, you know it has huge cottonwoods and they drop TONS of leaves. The leaves were back the next day.
That's about it.
