A Few Biking Videos

Here are some fun little videos, we are trying to learn how to use our new flip video camera and Imovie. Super fun! Jed is getting pretty good at it. The first video is from the Lehi ICUP race last Saturday (it's a kind of lame video, but oh well!) and the second is from Gooseberry Mesa in St. George Utah a few weeks ago. The Lehi race was super fun, Racer's Cycle Service put the race on. I had never been out that way, past Eagle Mountain in the middle of nowhere. It was POURING and SNOWING the whole drive out, and we just thought there was no way I would be doing the race. On twitter someone for ICUP was updating the weather and said is was dry, dry, dry out there. He wrote "Believe!" Well we did not believe him, but we should have because when we got to the race course, lo and behold there was sunny blue sky right directly over the course but no where else. The course was DRY and I couldn't believe it! There were only 3 girls in the beginner category, which was kind of a bummer!!! They didn't even stick around for the awards! I got a 25$ gift certificate to Racer's, which I thought was super generous of them. I would love to move up to Sport if I can for a little more competition. I actually really liked the course, everyone had told me they hated it but I thought it was a blast! It had tons of killer hills and I love those, call me a glutton for punishment, but I LOVE HILL CLIMBS!! The Sundance weekly race series starts this week!!! I am so excited!!! My Mom and Dad might watch the kids so Jed and I can both do them every Wednesday which would be awesome. I am so excited to see Jed race!

you didn't say how your bike raced for you. Good job, my brother raced out there as well. Cool stuff, I wish we were there.

your life makes me jealous! I want to be out west! Zach and I rode at gooseberry mesa years ago when we were first married. I remember liking it too!

I loved my bike Zach! I was awesome, so light on the climbs! I am really excited about it. I am still trying to get the suspension set up just right but it has been a great bike on the last 3 races! YAY! And Melanie and Zach you just need to come back out here!!! :)
