YAY Mad Dog!

I had a race today in Draper that was super fun. It was my second race in the since I have moved up to sport. There was a HUGE turnout today, I think they said they had like 400 people come to race. So we had a big Sport Women's group. There were 14 girls I believe. It was such a beautiful day, I was just excited to ride. I didn't get a chance to ride hardly at all this last week, actually just the Wednesday night race at Sundance, which was super fun. I moved up to Sport B for the Wednesday night series, which for me is kind of weird because Jed is racing that category. He did awesome last week, he won the category and beat me by like 10 minutes, soooo humbling. :) I was happy for him though. So I didn't get to preride the course for the Draper Race today, which was fine, but it would have been nice to know what was coming. It was really one of the most fun trails I have ridden in a long time. You got to go through rivers, wind through lots of trees, do some rock steps, see the temple in the distance, it was great. I felt pretty good but once again couldn't keep with Jen the whole way. I tried my hardest but she beat me by 45 seconds. It was a great race. After the race we got to go to a team BBQ at the Vizmegs (I hope I spelled that right). They have an awesome yard, the kids got to do a race in this little pasture. Chloe and Zac loved it, they didn't want to stop riding. It was so cute. Zac had such determination, he would fall down, start crying (mainly just cause he was mad he fell, not cause it hurt!) but he would get right back up and do it again! They even got a number and a prize. And can I just say the grilled chicken was sooooo yummy!!!! Thanks Karl and Dot!!! What a fun day!!!
