So Ella is now officially potty trained. This is a weird thing for me, because each time I've potty trained one of my kids, it was because I had two in diapers, and I needed to cut it down to one. Now I have NO diapers to change. For 5 years, there has always been a diaper to change. Isn't that crazy??? In a way I am kind of sad, but really not. Mainly just sad that my baby girl is growing up. The time just flies, I literally feel it slipping through my fingers, and I cannot hold onto it. Jed and I will say, "I just want her to stay this size forever, just how she is right now..." we said that with all our kids, throughout various stages. But then they grow and learn and it is so fun, and you want to freeze that age in time. I just need to remember to cherish each precious day and moment with my kids, and savor every little cute thing that they say or do, because it is so fleeting. Overnight Ella seemed to grow up now that she is potty trained. (She seems to think it too, she will sit on the potty and sing songs, and hum to herself like she is so proud) I really had no intention of doing it right now, but she found the kid potty in Zac's closet and decided she wanted to try. So I said to myself that I would only try for a day. Well by day two she seemed on her way and I couldn't believe it. Easiest kid yet. So I looked back and found some pics of my little Ella. She is such a cutie.

Have you seen this book? It is Ella's favorite lately. I came across it at Sunflower Farmer's Market in the clearance bin of all places. I love all of the Karen Katz books, I love her bright colors. So we read this book before her nap every day, it is our little special time together. Gosh I love her!
