What a GREAT day!

I love the kind of days when you feel like everything went smoothly! Today went something like this: 6 am morning run (felt decent and it was lighter outside than normal! Signs of spring!)
7am came home and went back to sleep! :)
8am made pancakes for my cute little boy, who always begs for pancakes
8:45 sent C off to preschool
9am-10:30ish CLEANED! And I was totally productive speedy woman!
10:30 Dropped off Tutus for our Relief Society humanitarian project, talked to Janelle to finalize things for this weeks activity, She is AWESOME! So is our committee!
10:45 Brought donations for the schools book auction (Pinkalicious is the preschool book so we bought all things pink to donate, pink cake mix, pink frosting, pink nail polish, pink feather boa, pink marshmallow peeps...you get the idea) C loved this!
11:45 Kids cleaned the house and got to pick something out of the prize box because they filled up their job charts! Proud mom!
NOON-3:30 My mom brought over Wendy's for the kids, all the cousins came over and my brother and I went to Jumping Jacks and they jumped and played their little hearts out! Then they came home and my brother took the kids on a walk on the trail. It was BEAUTIFUL out! Chatted with my mom, we looked at cute bedding and bath towels online by amy butler.
4:30ish, Jed came home for dinner, yummy food my mom brought, beef stroganoff she had leftovers and needed to get rid of it! (hmmm, maybe this is why the day went so smoothly, I didn't have to make dinner or lunch! :)
6pm Best part of the day....

We decided to take the kids on a little hike for family night on the trails above Springville. I needed to practice using my new bike pedals because I have a race this weekend in St George (YIKES!!!) Since I haven't ridden all winter I am a tad bit concerned, but it should still be fun even if I am in last place, right!? :) I rode while the kids toddled along on the trail, and right off the bat, I forgot I was clipped to my bike and fell over. I laughed and laughed. Mainly I rode and clipped in and out because Z was hiking right along side me, so I got lots of opportunities to practice clipping in. He wanted to find a "magic tower", so we found this huge boulder and he was so excited. They climbed on it with Jed and then it started to get dark so we turned around. I watched my cute kids and my sweet husband hiking along from behind and my heart was so full, I couldn't be any happier. They are the sweetest most wonderful blessings in my life. How could life be any better? As we headed back Z got a little tired so I put him on my bike seat and walked him down the trail and he said "Mom, I like your bike. It's a cool bike. It's blue. Do you like your bike?" I love him so much! We went to McDonalds to get ice cream sundaes and Z decided he wanted chicken nuggets instead. He seriously scarfed down six in under a minute. He must have worked up a serious appetite today, with all the hiking, jumping playing he did! And then of course I had a sundae, with hot fudge and peanuts. Those are seriously soooo yummy! You should go get one! Right now! :) 1$!!! Perfect ending to a perfect day!
