End of the race SundanceMountain Bike Race Series

I want to do this to keep a journal of the happenings in our little family, and so I can write and feel like my brain isn't turning to mush. So today is my first post, YAY! I rode my last mountain bike race of the season last night and it was so much fun. I have had the best time doing these races. I am so grateful that I have a husband who encouraged me to try this and watched the kids each wednesday night. He truly is someone who allows me to FLY and be the best me I can be. Marjorie Hinckley said that her husband let her fly and that is totally how I feel about Jed. I hope I can do the same for him with all that he wants to accomplish in life. These races were perfect for me because they are low key yet still competetive. I came first place in my category most of the races which was such a great feeling. It was fun to push myself and see how fast I could ride, and I definitely saw improvement. I am totally addicted and can't wait until next year. The best part is coming past the kids and hearing them cheer for me with their cute little voices "Go MOM!" Life is great. Last night was just a silly race where we got to dressup as superheroes. It was hilarious. I wore an awesome Wonderwoman costume my Grandma made years ago for my Aunt Stephanie. People loved it. I'll post pictures when I get a chance.

Heather - I love it! I didn't know you were such a biker. I'm kind of a roadie these days but miss the mountain biking... it's been especially good with my back injury. Anyway. Check out our blog:
